ASTM Standard #F1163 and is certified by the Safety
Equipment Institute, but Chick's makes no warranty or

We have not designed, tested, or manufactured this
headgear and disclaim any and all warranties and
representations with regard to the extent, if any, to
which it will protect the wearer against injury as a
result of impact. It is necessary that protective straps
be securely fastened while the headgear is worn. Some
headgear are designed to absorb the shock of a blow by
partial destruction of the headgear. Though damage may
not be visible to the naked eye, if it suffers such an
impact, it should be replaced.
