This is a decent rope halter, but I've noticed that there is some play in the nose area. I had hoped that it wouldn't stretch and get too big as my horse has a small head, but that has not been the case. It has been kept inside and only outdoors when in use, and my horse doesn't pull, so it's not atypical use or abuse stretching it out. Then again, it was only $8, so I guess you get what you pay for. Otherwise, the rope it is made of seems sturdy, but time will tell.

Awesome quality especially for the price and the knots were all fairly tight! We bought the teal, black, burgundy, and navy and all were gorgeous colors. Fits our average horses as well as our large horses very well. The lead lines were great quality too and matched perfect.

I have this type halter for my two younger horses and they are stiff. I took on an older, retired Foxhunter and this one is just perfect for him. A bit softer. He’s been allowed to walk in top of people and this gives you just a bit more control.
