It works, and it's pretty, but it's got a flawed design. The tail strap is just dumb. That is just a recipe for the dirtiest strap ever. I cut it off and sewed a D ring on and used straps from a previous worn out fly sheet to attach to the belly straps. Also the neck sheet is huge compared to the body sheet. I would only recommend this if you cannot afford a better designed sheet.

My buckskin mare is attacked each year and will have welts all over her from biting insects. Last year got up to 105 degrees F with significant humidity in our area. This fly sheet held up all season, being worn 24/7 through kicks and bucks and rolls and naps. There were no rub marks anywhere on my mare either. good sheet for biting insects in the humid heat. Only improvement I would make is to include leg straps. , there was a tail strap that became super nasty as it got peed and pooped on the whole time and was therefore removed. But once removed, sny subsequent breeze then had her backside exposed.

Measuring For a Horse
Blanket

Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.

Measure from the center of your horse's chest
around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring
tape.

This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
