Great mask - nose piece too long

The horse size mask fits both my medium size and large size quarter horses. And the Velcro wrap fasteners stay put better than other Velcro strap fasteners. I’ve been using them for a few weeks and they haven’t come off, not even with my one horse that rubs others off on trees. BUT the nose piece IS too long. It not only drags on the ground and in the water but the moisture from their nostrils collects dust and cakes on which I expect blocks airflow. I hemmed them up about 2” to alleviate that problem.
Recommendation to manufacturer: shorten the nose piece by 2”.

We love these masks for trail riding in the woods. They are keep the bugs out of their eyes and ears and they're still able to see clearly through all the brush. Having the reflective nose band is cool too so we are more visible to people or vehicles coming our way.

Fantastic product. I don't think her herd mates can get this one off of her. My mare has a broad white blaze and pink nose. This completely covers her so I don't have to apply zinc to her nose. I bought two to switch out. Unfortunately it's long enough that she gets muck and grass caught in the end. I switch them out daily so she has a clean one to wear while I wash the other.

We live in Georgia where the gnats are terrible so our horses wear mask most of the time. I love these because they are light but durable and the horses can see through them much better. I know they are for when your riding but I have them on in the pasture and they have been holding up very well! I bought 4 at first then went back and bought 8 more a week later!

These are the best - paid only $10, and they cover the ears, eyes and nose - black fine mesh allows you to see your horses' eyes, which means they can see out easily too. Mesh is stiff enough to keep the mask away from the eyes, and the nose band keeps it in place. I bought the pony size for my 3 mo old QH filly and it fits great now and big enough to allow her to grow. These are the ones to buy!
