Rugged Ride Lycra Fly Mask - Easy On Velcro - Forelock Hole - With Ears

I bought a horse that had been left outside in all sorts of weather and when I got her, the poor things ears were all sore and infected from bug bites. These masks are very lightweight and so easy to get on and off and she hasn’t minded having this mask put on her at all. The other mask I had was very stiff and her ears were tender so it made her uncomfortable. She has been able to stay outside for half the day without a problem at all and her ears are finally healing. They are super easy to clean in a bucket with soap and water and dry in a couple of hours. They do tend to snag if they get near a tree, it for the price, this is the best mask going and I highly recommend it

I’ve tried other fly masks and this is by far the best fitting and the horses actually leave it on!!! The mesh around the eyes gives them room to keep their eyes open and love the mesh for over the ears. Easy on and my Houdini of a mare (who won’t leave a halter on when needed) leaves it on all day and night. Both my mares use average horse size weaver halters and the horse size in the fly mask fit perfect. Even room for adjustment with the Velcro straps closure.

Better than average Lycra fly mask; this one has under chin velcro to make for an easy on-off for horses that dislike having a mask pulled over their faces. Soft mesh eye covers are non-irritating, and fits snugly to keep the flies out!

I bought two for my two miniature horses. The fit was very good, when I first put them on one was pulled off on a fence when itching their face, however it was because I did not initially secure it well. After replacing it and securing it better I had no trouble. At least not until the neighbors OTTB reached over the shared fence line to grab the end of the Velcro straps that were sticking out under the miniature horses jaw. At this point, the masks did not have a chance. Fortunately, no damage occurred so now we simply use the fly masks when the neighbors OTTB is in a field that does not share a fence line with mine and they have worked out great.

I ordered cob for my yearling which fit perfect, Horse for my 15.2 gelding and it was too small but luckily it fit my 14.1 gelding. I will order more in the future

I purchased 4 Rugged Ride Lycra fly mask. The flies are terrible this year. It was common to see 50 to 100 flies on my horses face and lined up all along the eye lids. No more what a relief for my horses and a load of worry gone for me. I have Quarter Horses. A yearling, a mare and 2 geldings. I purchased 4 horse size mask and 3 of them I should have ordered large horse size. I would purchase more when needed

I just bought 2 mini masks for my minis and a large one for a gift for a friend! They fit great!! Have to measure my Percheron to see if the large/X-large will fit him.

I have 2 that are seriously hard to keep fly masks on. These are adjustable and an Absolute miracle for the girls. They come in bright colors as well so IF they do manage to get them off, they're easy to find.

Pretty standard mask. Easy to get on. Does run small And there’s a lot of the Velcro strip exposed the catches everything

Bought mini size for foal. Holding up well. Velcro closures made it easier to apply and adjust for size. Ears a bit too short as foal grows.

Was concerned about the fit, as my lunkheaded quarter horse is know to stretch and tear, but the stretch was perfect and no tears so far. Also as it's a close fit, his mouthy pasture mate hasn't even tried to tear it off him yet! I bought two just in case and now pasture buddy is wearing the other :)
