Redesigned For Improved Stability, Security And Comfort!

Exclusively Chick's! Durable rip resistant mesh boots that protect the legs from biting/flying insects and also provide protection from the sun's harmful rays. Velcro closures make them easy to put on and take off. Though they are contoured to your horse's leg shape for less bulk, they are flexible and won't impede your horse's movement. Many bright colors to choose from that will make it easy to spot your horse in the pasture!

Sold in Pairs.

ADJUSTING FOR PROPER FIT:

Start at the middle and secure the velcro straps from top to bottom.

Return to the strap in the middle (ankle area) and insure it is snug but does not interfere with movement. Ensure that the middle strap is snug enough so that the circumference of the strap is smaller than the horses ankle.

Re-check the top two straps to insure they cannot slide down over the fetlock area. SEE GRAPHIC.

If the velcro adjustments are too loose at the top, the boots may slide down causing the horse to walk on them, which in turn may damage the boot.

For the price, these boots work. The sizing chart was a little confusing, but I got the correct size. I got these to help keep flies off of a coronet band injury and they are perfect for that! It's right on the front and with the elastic, it keeps it covers but doesn't rub and it's healing! My guy broke one of the boots pretty quick, but I think it was because I put it on a little too loose and he stepped on it with his other foot. He also destroyed his fly mask the next day, so idk if maybe he was just itchy and rubbing on things. It's okay, because I still have 1 on the injury and it's holding up. I'd recommend them.

We purchase these for two of our horses this year and are very pleased with these boots- fit well, stay on, and do a great job at protecting our horses legs from flies. Can you please make a dark purple boot instead of just lavender?? Tx

Excellent boot to control flies, especially on the front legs where my mare wipes her mouth and eyes.

I purchased a set of 2 of these for my horses and I love them. They come up high on the leg and fit snug. They are easy to put on and they stay on. I have purchased others that I would find out in the pasture and didn’t stay on. I would buy them again.

We have a 32” mini and these boots were too small. I’m not a pony expert, this pony is our first. We have her as a companion to our quarter horses. I will return and try for a different size or product.

I have tried all kinds of fly boots but these are the best I have found. Love the contoured fit. They are secure and stay up. They are easy to put on and take off. Love the colors too. Great price. Will be buying again.

My mare wears these full time during bug season and I’ve had them for two years. They stay in the proper position on her leg and don’t cause any rubs. I can’t recommend these boots enough!!

They are the only boots in my 45yrs of horse ownership that have never come off. They even survived my lippy filly who pulls everything off of everyone else. No metal or plastic pieces to break. I will note they won’t survive a second season. The Velcro could be a better quality for longevity. We ride every day so the on & off is weakening the grip.

I purchased these about a month ago for all of my horses. The fit seemed a little small even though I measured and ordered by the chart. There has been no issues with any rubbing, even when on for multiple days at a time. I love the velcro straps much better than the other one solid piece of some other brands. The only issue I have really had with them is that, since the material isn't very stiff, they tend to slip down on some of my horses. I'm sure it is probably just how they are treating them.

never used fly boots till now bc they seemed to be a nuisance to put on. These go on quickly and my horse isn’t stomping all day and kicking at flies.

For the price, I can't complain much. My mare is in a pasture filled with foxtails, so unfortunately these are not holding up too well. If your horse is stalled or in a corral, I think these would be great. I have noticed that they slip down a lot, so I'm constantly adjusting them.

I got a pair last year and a pair again this year. I have a slender 15h TWH mare and the horse size was much too big. I sewed them tighter and they fit. The second time I got the cob size and they fit. The material is indeed rip resistant and still looks good after 24/7 outdoor use. The velcro isn't that great anymore but we make it work. I would buy them again.
