Only had it for 3 days on my horse- held up perfect those 3 days. Live in Ohio where it is hot and humid and he wasn’t sweating at all! He ultimately decided to try and jump a puddle leading into his pasture, landed on the gate and the blanket got caught on the hinge and ripped totally down the back seam in half. Plan on ordering another one to replace it. My only complaint is my horse is a true size 84, and has worn this brand before. His lightweight is a rugged ride (also purchased through chicks) that fits perfectly, however the Velcro on the front of this fly sheet won’t stay together and pulls apart the moment he walks forward, like there isn’t enough fabric in the front. The buckles fit and are almost too long, but the Velcro closure is too small.

This is so soft but was too big and too long for my mini. She normally wears a 42 and I got 40-42 and still too big. I wish they leg straps were shorter for minis instead of regular length. Otherwise I love it.

Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.
Measure from the center of your horse's chest around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring tape.
This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
