This halter is so worth the money! I bought one for my horse 12 years ago and had it repaired once after he pulled back when tied and snapped the brass ring. I loved it enough to have it repaired. When he pulled back again recently and the leather snapped, I figured - after 12 years - it wasn't wasteful to just buy a new one! I will say it runs a bit big, at least on his once-stallion but little guy head. So I had to punch a couple more holes in the crown piece and the nose band, but now it fits fine (with a little extra leather left over). Very attractive on him.

I love this halter and have ordered one for each of my horses over the years. I personally like to believe that every horse deserves a nice halter with an engraved nameplate, so even my pasture puffs get one. It is a great value for the price. The leather is initially quite stiff, but it softens considerably with conditioner and general wear.

I love this halter sooooo much my horse champ looks so stunning and for this price it is unbelievable the engraving is beautiful but I don't know if you can swich out the engraving plate so if you know could you pls tell me other then that I fell in love with this halter

The halter is well-made and seems like it should last a few seasons. It’s quite stiff but the fit is good, hopefully it will become more flexible over time. Nameplate is a nice touch.

I initially ordered the cob size for my petite OTTB, but it fit more like a yearling so I returned it for a horse size - make sure you read the size chart! The engraving had a small dent in it but it’s not super noticeable and the name came out nice. The return process was quick and easy. It is a bit stiff but after oiling and conditioning it softened up.
