On sale for pretty cheap and I was looking for something to soak up dirty sweat or rain-wet fur and this works for that. Can't say anything on longevity. Two things I don't like- the tail rope is way too high and you have to have it very loose so that it is not at the tail head/over the pooper and the purple color is a bit uglier than the picture- more fuchsia than purple. If I paid more, than I would have returned the clashing color, but cheap, I don't care enough.

Measuring For a Horse Blanket

Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.

Measure from the center of your horse's chest around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring tape.

This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
