Waterproof and breathable, 600 denier, ripstop outer fabric with taped teams, 200 gram polyfill and adjustable neck. Double buckle front with quick clip chest fastenings. Shoulder gusset, Low, adjustable cross surcingle. Extra-long and gusseted tail flap, Elasticated, adjustable and removable leg straps. Silver colored buckles and fastenings.

This is a great deal on a great fitting blanket. I'm very pleased with the quality and the fit. My Tennessee Walker is hard to fit. I love the adjustment on the shoulders. I'm thinking about getting another one just to have as a spare.

I recently bought my new gelding a blanket basically to keep him dry because he has a great winter coat. We were in sub zero temperatures here in Eastern Washington but we’re getting snow so I just didn’t want him to be wet and freezing. This blanket was a very welcome surprise because as the saying goes, you get what you pay for…..I actually like this brand better than Weatherbeta and will soon buy one for my big 20 year old gelding since he gets no winter coat. Thank you for selling a great blanket at a great price! My younger gelding is the dirtiest horse I’ve ever seen. He’ll pee then pay down in it, or worse. The Derby House brand is amazing and he stayed dry, at least in the inside, which is all we needed. I’d definitely recommend this blanket for anyone but especially for those horses who aren’t kind to their blankets!

Ordered 2 of these for my arabian mares, they fit perfectly. They also have extra hooks to hook on hoods or whatever else is needed. Nice medium weight.

I purchased one of these recently for my new horse as we were going to get snow in Florida. Although it's rare, it happens, at least in the panhandle. I am more concerned with my horse getting wet and cold than just cold. This blanket is well worth the price and I am very glad I purchased it, especially from Chick's Saddlery. Now I am prepared for the next Florida snowfall.

I purchased two of these blankets and I’m so happy with them! I absolutely love the fabric. It is a perfect medium weight blanket. The horses are so comfortable. One is a fairly stocky, Amish draft mix, and the other being a quarter horse. The blankets fit both of them perfectly. We needed something that would be waterproof for our cold and rainy early New England winters with sleet or light snow, but not requiring a full heavyweight blanket yet. This was a wonderful deal and I’m so glad I purchased them. I have already recommended them to several people.

I had my doubts but this is indeed a good quality blanket. It fit my 16hd TB well, all stitching is intact. Features things much more expensive blankets have, like adjustable snaps in the front, velcro neck adjustment, and includes both leg straps and a plastic coated tail cord. The 600D material is sturdy and the surcingles are in the right place. My horse is sketchy with blankets and there is not a mark on this after 2 weeks of outdoor turnout. Thumbs up!

Blanket
Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.
Measure from the center of your horse's chest
around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring
tape.
This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
