Circle R By Reinsman Medium Port Sweet Iron Bit. This bit requires light contact. The function of the medium port is to provide tongue relief; as the rider pulls back on the reins, the horse's tongue moves inside the port thereby placing more pressure on the bars of the mouth and less on the tongue. You will really enjoy watching a well trained, good mouthed horse perform in this moderately light bit. Sweet iron is intended to rust and promotes salivation which makes a more supple feeling mouth. This bit is designed to be used with your choice of curb strap or chain.
