This top quality Glycerine soap is a tried and true product for cleaning tack. Pure Glycerin is a great moisturizing substance you can use on your leather without having a significant effect on the color of your leather item whether it’s a tack, shoe, or saddle. It is also best known for its ability to draw and retain moisture, which keeps your leather supple and properly hydrated.
Glycerine seals and locks in the natural oil that is contained in the leather and that makes the leather somewhat water-resistant. The PH of pure glycerine is exactly 7 which is perfect for cleaning leather and is used in the process of finishing Quality leather and is referred to as "fat lacquering".
Glycerine is a great soap to use yourself. It can help lock in your skin's natural moisture and prevent over-drying. This may be especially beneficial if you experience drying conditions like acne.
